ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering established in the year 2008. Students equipped with knowledge and skills can cope with the needs and challenges of the dynamic field of computer engineering. The  strength of the Department is particularly its faculty members. The department has strong, experienced and committed staff. The department is equipped with a number of laboratories and a computer center to cater the need of the students. The Department organizes workshops/seminars and extracurricular activities from time to time under Computer   Science Association to provide our students and faculty a platform to interact with their peers from all across the country.

Vision:

To impart high-quality technical education by providing the core instruction, state-of-the-art laboratories and preparing the students with cognizant knowledge, analytical skills, design and development of solutions, effective computing skills, communication skills, emphasis on practical skills with research aptitude, and services of global competence with the attitudes of ethical, social and entrepreneurial aspects, lifelong learning with a multi-disciplinary approach and to succeed in employment and higher education, satisfying the real-time needs of the stakeholders.

Program Educational Objectives:

 

 

PEO-I: To acquire knowledge in applied and basic engineering sciences to understand engineering principles that are necessary to formulate and solve problems related to Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
PEO-II: To develop knowledge in experimentation, analysis, and synthesis of Electrical & Electronics Engineering courses to design/innovate and create novel products/ solutions to real-life problems.
PEO-III: To inculcate managerial and entrepreneur skills, ethical and professional attitude, and a multidisciplinary approach to meet the needs of industry and society.

PEO-IV: To recognize the need for further studies, research, ever learning to adapt oneself in the phase of changing technologies, and to ensure the students to succeed in engineering positions globally.
